Reiki originated in Japan in the early 20th century, created by Mikao Usui. This energy healing technique grew from Usui's spiritual insights and study of ancient teachings. After Usui's death, his followers continued to share and teach Reiki, leading to its spread worldwide. Despite the emergence of various schools and traditions, the essence of Reiki—channeling life energy for healing and balance—remains consistent.

My Approach to a Reiki Session:

During a Reiki session with me, clients relax fully clothed in a calm, soothing environment. I begin by setting a peaceful atmosphere, with soft music or ambient sounds, to aid relaxation. I use a light touch or hover my hands near the body, channeling energy with intention and care. Focusing on the client's specific needs, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and may incorporate personalized elements such as guided imagery or affirmations. Clients often report feeling warmth or a tingling sensation as I work to unblock and balance their energy flows, promoting a sense of deep relaxation and well-being.

Benefits of Reiki:

Reiki is a powerful tool for stress reduction and relaxation, which is a cornerstone of my practice. Reiki enhances overall wellness. In my sessions, I aim to create a holistic healing experience, providing a supportive space where clients can find balance and rejuvenation. While individual experiences with Reiki vary, and its scientific validation is still evolving, many find it a valuable complement to traditional healthcare.
